You add it to the paint and instead of the floor being slick enough to crack your ass on when it's wet it actually has a little grip to it. It'll be in a small package about the size of say an ice cream you'd by from the icecream man or a pack of small sunflower seeds or a small bag of corn nuts. Not very large but trust me...it'll be enough for one application. Add it to the paint before mixing it for laying down....or you can have the paint shop add it in and mix it in one of their mixers while you are there. They were pretty cheap....like only $8 extra....but highly worth it.
Oh, and the Rustoleom version has held up well with me. Did 2 coats....took about 2 days total to fully dry. Recommend facial breathing masks.
